Smart Motorcycle Helmet
Smart Helmet aids Motorcycle riding safer than before.
This prototype have used various sensors to monitor the status of the rider. It can autonomously detect accident, also aims at minimizing road accident. It will reach out for medical assistance by sending the location of the accident. This system can be attached to an existing regular helmet too.
Circuit system attached to the motorcycle
This system connects with the smart helmet and receives data and makes actions such as turning off the ignition when the rider is under influence of alcohol and sends out text message to road side medical team in case of an accident. This system as has a bio metric lock for the vehicle.
Circuit in the helmet
The helmet houses a plethora of sensors to assess the rider. It constantly check for alcohol influence on the rider. And has a impact sensor to sense if there is an accident.
Bike circuit with Bio metric lock
The bike circuit has a LCD display to interact with the rider and will only unlock with a bio metric lock. It also has a GPS and GSM module to send alerts with GPS coordinates to road side assistance and emergency contacts in case of an accident.
Helmet with the kit attached
The kit can be attached as shown in the pictures below. There will be a alcohol sensor near the front of the helmet and impact sensor, Bluetooth transmitter and microcontroller behind the helmet.
